Stations & Apparatus

The McLendon-Chisholm Fire Department has two stations located within its 32.3 square mile response district.  Each station houses an engine and a booster (or brush truck).

Engine 42 and Booster 41 reside at Station 1. Two members of the Fire Department are stationed here from 7 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday to reduce response time.

A 2014 Ferrara Commercial Pumper/Tanker/Rescue with with a 1000 gallon/minute Hale pump used for structure fires, smoke investigations, and motor vehicle accidents. Engine 42 also has a 1250 gallon tank.  Put into service February 20, 2014.



Engine 41 is a 1995 Pierce Saber rebuilt by Brindlee Mountain Fire Apparatus, LLC and delivered put into service May 2013.




A 2017 Ford F-550 customized by Skeeter Brush Trucks for wild land fire operations. This truck is equipped with a Hale pump and carries 400 gallons of water.



A 2009 Chevrolet 3500 with a Hale pump used for Brush/Grass fires and Medical calls.
